About NCSSU

The SSU Nursing Club is made up of the students of Sonoma State University’s nursing program (pre-nursing students interested in applying to the program can also be members of the club). We meet once a month to discuss various nursing events, available nursing opportunities such as rural preceptorships, and philanthropic activities. The nursing club is a great way to be actively involved in the nursing program, and is also awesome for making connections and getting to know the members of classes other than your own.  If you’ve got a knack for leadership, you can run for a position in the club, such as president, vice president, treasurer, secretary, mentor program coordinator, class liaison, etc…the list goes on and on with numerous opportunities for you to lead your class, so don’t be shy!  Jump in and get involved!

This website has lots of useful resources for you as a nursing student at SSU. Check out the calendar for upcoming meetings and events so you don’t miss something fun!  If you need to get in touch with a classmate, feel free to browse the class directories.  Have a look at the cool nursing merchandise available for purchase, and don’t forget to stop by the photo gallery. This website also offers some helpful links for books, CPR classes, places to buy uniforms and supplies, and many others. So have a look around, don’t be a stranger, and come see what the SSU nursing club has to offer!
