Fall 2010: Semester Updates
Hey nursing club! I’d like to personally welcome you all to a new semester, especially the incoming sophomore class – congrats on your acceptace! It’s great to see you guys involved and active in the student nursing community here on campus. This year will be a transition, as Kathy Zaletel will be taking over my position. Please have some patience with updates on the website, as I’ll be slowly turning over all the responsibilities to your new webmistress.
We discussed a lot of things at our first meeting, so be sure to look over the meeting notes and check out the calendar for upcoming events.
One of the things we discussed at the meeting is our need for students to run for sophomore class liaison, treasurer, club congress representative, and fundraising coordinator. For more information about the duties and responsibilities of these open positions, please read the position descriptions and contact Kristy Page if you are interested in running.
Also, don’t forget that if you want to be an official member of the nursing club, dues need to be turned in by our next meeting on September 27th.
