Pinning Ceremony date: Friday, May 11, 2012

Location: Flamingo Hotel at 2777 4th Street, Santa Rosa

Time: Set up around 3:30pm, Ceremony begins at 7pm, event complete by 9:30pm

Jobs: Here are the major jobs with who’s in charge and a brief description of that area:

•  Fundraising/Finances: Christine Sitts - Oversee funds and budgets of other areas, procure sources of funds, including donations, community fundraising, club grants, etc.

•  Venue: Jill Peanasky - Secure venue for ceremony, including site visit, budget, and accommodation for all areas of ceremony

•  Ceremony Agenda: Tali Irvin and Katie McCorkle - Plan the ceremony agenda and timing, including faculty and class speakers, pinning, oath, etc.

•  Programs and Announcements: Jocelyn Newark - Design programs and announcements and acquire print shop to use. Invite department members and University staff

•  Audio Visual (AV) Presentation: Megan Darrough – Create AV presentation and music selection, prepare with necessary equipment

•  Refreshments: Jackie Potter – Plan and organize refreshments and utensils to be served to all attendees after the ceremony

•  Pinning Materials: Kathy Zaletel – Procure supplies for ceremony, including pins, ribbons, flowers/decorations, etc. Mediate between class and pin vendor

•  Photography: Megan Darrough – Schedule and organize class photo and if decided, a photographer for ceremony
