Resources
Life would be a whole lot easier if all you needed for nursing classes were books. Unfortunately, you’re going to need a lot more than that. Along with books, you’ll also need uniforms, CPR certifications, and of course, your trusty stethoscope. Fortunately, we’ve done most of the work for you…here are some helpful resources for securing these much-needed nursing essentials.
Books

SSU Bookstore – Convenient and reliable, but ridiculously slightly overpriced.
Barnes and Noble – Either online or in-store, pretty reliable and a bit more affordable than the SSU bookstore.
Amazon – Fast shipping, reliable service, and you can also buy used!
Half.com – My personal favorite! Shipping takes a little longer, but you can literally save close to 30%-40% on textbooks. It’s also VERY good for selling back books, if you choose not to keep them at the end of the semester.
Bookfinder.com – If you’re looking for a deal, this site scours the web for the best possible prices on both new AND used books, and links you to the appropriate sellers. I’ve used it a few times, and it’s come through for me every time.
